We are currently accepting applications for parent volunteers for summer 2009!

At Green Hill Lake Camp, parents are invited to consider joining our volunteer summer staff team. Our volunteer summer crew is divided into two main categories: program staff and support staff. Our program staff consists of those staff who work directly with the campers. Roles in this category include cabin leaders, waterfront staff, activity instructors, and all others who care directly for the campers who attend GHLC's many programs.

Our support staff consists of those individuals who do not work directly with the campers and instead focus on supporting the program staff. Roles included in this category include babysitters, nurses, doctors, food service staff, maintenance workers, housekeeping staff, and office assistants. Click here for a sample list of support roles and responsibilities.

In exchange for service, parents (who serve as support staff) receive a discount on their child's camp fees. A discount of $100 per week will be given for up to two children per parent volunteer for the same period that the parent(s) are working as support staff, and their children are in the camping program.

Because we want to make sure our campers have the safest and most enjoyable experience possible, our hiring process is very thorough. If you are interested in applying for a summer volunteer parent position this summer, the necessary steps are listed below. We encourage individuals to apply as early as possible. Camp could not run without our many volunteers!
